Terry K. Morris (Nobeko Kaneko), 80, of Old Washington and formerly of Derwent, passed away Thursday (December 18, 2008) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge. She was born on July 20, 1928 in Tokyo Japan, daughter of the late Tokutaro Kaneko and Sue (Mutohashi) Kaneko. She married William Morris on August 15, 1954. Mrs. Morris worked as a field winder for twenty-eight years at the former March Electric. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing, shopping and camping. She was Methodist by faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William, who passed away on October 5, 2003; and two brothers. She leaves a son, David Morris of Derwent; three daughters, Susan (& Steve) Bedgood of Senecaville, Peggy (& John) Mason of Cambridge and Linda (& Doug) Walker of Old Washington; two brothers, Kenge Kaneko and Kasuo Kaneko both of Japan; a sister, Mitsue Shiboya of Japan; five grandchildren, Staci (& Aaron) Knouff, Shane Bedgood, Kayla Mason, Wesley Mason and Ashley Morris; and two great-grandchildren, J.D. Knouff and Hailey Knouff. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will be held on Monday (December 22, 2008) at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Byesville.
