Thelma Jean Willey-Scott, 60, passed away Thursday (March 5, 2009) at her daughter's home in Beverly surrounded by her daughters and family. She was born on May 5, 1948 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Harold Richard Willey and Eula Jean (Vermillion) Willey. Mrs. Willey-Scott was a homemaker and a loving mother to her children. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. She enjoyed reading and also watching courtroom drama shows. Mrs. Willey-Scott was a Protestant by faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Brian Eugene McKinney and Michael Allen Hunter; and her step-mother, Helen Willey. She leaves her husband, William T. Scott of Cambridge; three daughters, Shelly (Carl) Craft of Middletown, Christa (James) Hinton of Fleming with whom she resided with and Dajea (Glen) Hupp of Marietta; four brothers, Paul Thomas (Barbara) Willey, Robert (Nancy) Willey, Ricky Willey and Harold Don Willey all of Cambridge; three sisters, Mary Lou (Tom) Earley, Tina Davis, Diane Willey and Susie Ogle (Tim Burt) all of Cambridge; seven grandchildren, O'Ryan (Carime) Hupp, Jo McKinney, Danielle Schaad, Dustin Schaad, Derek Schaad, Ethan Hinton, Chloe Hinton and Quinn Needs; a great-grandchild, Rylee Hupp; and several nieces & nephews. Family and friends may call on Monday (March 9, 2009) from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will follow at 3 p.m. with Pastor Martin Hennessey officiating. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
