Thomas Richard Allison

Thomas Richard Allison, 89, of Amarillo, Texas, passed on to glory on May 18, 2010. Born on Jan. 28, 1921, Tom was raised in Cambridge, Ohio, and honorably served his country in the Navy, Army and Air Force from 1941 until 1954. He lived in the Texas Panhandle area for most of his life after leaving the military. He spent his civilian career in the transportation industry, which he loved. Tom was preceded in death by his son, Richard Allison, and his former wife, Martha Allison. He is survived by a sister, Julie Wall of Dublin and his adoring nieces, Kyme Rennick and Wendy Hillan; and nephews, Bruce and Rob Wall and their children. A memorial service will be held on Monday (May 31, 2010) at 1 p.m. at the Northwood Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel.
