Thomas J. Koval

Thomas J. Koval, 49, of Cambridge, died Sunday (April 22, 2012) at his home. He was born September 28, 1962 in Cambridge, son of the late Joseph A. Koval Jr. and Stella E. (Termin) Koval. Mr. Koval had worked as a chef at various restaurants. He was a member of Christ Our Light Parish. Mr. Koval was also a member of the Eagles Aerie 386 and the Fraternal Order of the Moose 631. He loved playing with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing, gardening, and any outdoor activities. He is survived by his wife, Beverly (Baisden) Koval of the home; a son, Thomas Koval II of Byesville; a step-daughter, Angela (& John) Baltzer of Reynoldsburg; two brothers, Joseph (& Vicki) Koval of Pickerington and Robert (& Mary) Koval of Newark; three sisters, Mary Ann (& Kirk) Wolverton of Cambridge, Sallie Finnegan of Grove City, and Julie (& Todd) DiFolco of Grove City; and three grandchildren, Cayden Nicholson, Madden Koval, and Catelyn Baltzer. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where wake services will begin at 6 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday (April 26, 2012) at 11 a.m. at Christ Our Light Parish - St. Benedict Catholic Church, Cambridge, with Father Robert Borer officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Byesville.
