Thomas G. Payton

Thomas G. Payton III, 40, of Cambridge passed away Saturday (August 6, 2011) at the Morrison House, Zanesville. He was born May 1, 1971 in Zanesville and was the son of Jody (Ford) Payton of Cambridge and the late Thomas G. Payton II. He was a 1989 graduate of Cambridge High School and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his Maternal and Paternal grandparents. He is survived by two sons, Divaun "D.J." Welker of Zanesville and Shakur Payton of Lore City; three daughters, Taryn "Bunky" Payton, Ashley Watson and Rayne Payton, all of Cambridge; two brothers, Jason Lee (Holly) Payton of Coshocton and Shaun Payton, Cambridge; two sisters, April (Bob) Badnell of Newark and Katrina Payton of Cambridge; one granddaughter, Kaija; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Wednesday with services to follow with Elder Gary Nosse officiating.
