Thomas H. Stevens

Thomas H. Stevens, 71, of Senecaville, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday (May 4, 2021) at Regency Hospital Cleveland West, Middleburg Heights OH.

He was born February 22, 1950 in Cambridge, son of the late Thomas E. Stevens and Vivian L. (Sills) Stevens-Cox.

Mr. Stevens retired from the former Cambridge State Hospital, where he had worked as a coordinator to the food service department.

Mr. Stevens was a US Army veteran.  He was a member of the Byesville VFW Post # 3760.

He loved spending time with his family and visiting with his brothers & sisters.

He enjoyed fishing and was an avid outdoorsman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Jeremiah Foster; a brother, David Stevens; and a sister, Jackie Feldner.

He is survived by two sons, Ernest Ray Stevens (Margie Rothwell) of Cambridge and Thomas E. Stevens of Cambridge; a daughter, Tonya Foster (Justin Andrews) of Parma; a brother, Tim (Dianne) Cox of Cumberland; three sisters, Dena Stevens of Cambridge, Anna (Benny) Enochs of New Concord, and Golda Stevens of Byesville; three grandchildren, Jay T. Foster, Claire Foster, and Jaxson Andrews all of Parma; a sister-in-law, Bernice Stevens; and a brother-in-law, Norm Feldner.

Visitation will be held Tuesday (May 11, 2021) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Jay Workman officiating. Family and friends are all welcome, but due to COVID-19, FACE COVERINGS ARE REQUIRED.  Please take all precautions to ensure your own safety and everyone else's should you decide to attend.

Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Byesville, with military graveside services conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
