Tim Scott

Like the fictional TV show "Cheers" they had Norm, but we had Tim Scott, who was loved by so many wherever he went! His sense of humor was unique, and it was his trademark. We lost a wonderful husband, father, brother-in-law, and friend. Heaven welcomed our Tim home on January 7, 2022.

Tim retired from the family insurance business, WB Green after 40 years. He was a lifetime member of the Cambridge Elks Club. He was proud to be an Auxiliary Policeman for the City of Cambridge for 25 years. He felt it was a privilege and an honor being part of the City Police Department.

Tim is preceded in death by his parents, Steve, and Ruth (Hutchison) Scott and his brother Mike Scott; he is survived by his loving wife, LuAnn Franklin Scott. They met on a blind date 45 years ago. They were married September 22, 1979; two sons, Doug (Angela) Scott of Columbus, Georgia and John Mark of Columbus, Ohio, brother, and sister-in-law 's Clay and Mary Curtis, and Larry and Jamie Winnett, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many close "family" and friends and his faithful cat Princess. A private service will be held at a later date. Donations in memory of Tim may be made to The Jerry Dragosin FOP Lodge #10, 814 Wheeling Ave., Cambridge, OH.
