Timothy "Tim" Wheeler, 41, of Kimbolton died Wednesday (September 23, 2009) at his home. He was born November 20, 1967 in Cambridge, son of Robert Wheeler and Twila (Perkins) Wheeler. Mr. Wheeler was a disabled veteran, having served in the U.S. Army during Desert Storm and he also had been stationed in Korea. He was a member of the VFW. He was a former employee of Detroit Diesel, Wal-Mart and Spirit Services. Mr. Wheeler was a 1986 graduate of Cambridge High School. He was the former mayor of Kimbolton. He loved hunting & fishing. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Clarence "Bud" Perkins, Joseph Wesley Wheeler and Larry Joe Johnson. He leaves his wife, Krystal (Johnson) Wheeler of the home, whom he married June 7, 1991; his parents, Robert and Twila (Perkins) Wheeler of Cambridge; three sons, Chance Dakota Wheeler (age 13), Hunter Jacob Wheeler (age 11) and Colt Robert Wheeler (age 4) all of the home; two daughters, Aryka Jo Wheeler (age 17) and Ciara Nikole Wheeler (age 5) all of the home; a brother, Scott (& Carrie) Wheeler of Old Washington; a sister, Marcia (& Rick) Goodin of Claysville; a brother-in-law, Joey (& Julie) Johnson of Cambridge; his mother-in-law, Darlene Morris of Hopedale; his grandmothers, Rita Wheeler of Caldwell and Dorothy "Dottie" Perkins of Ava; and numerous aunts, uncles & cousins. Family and friends may call on Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will be held on Saturday (September 26, 2009) at 1 p.m. with Pastor Greg Kesler officiating. Burial will be at Kimbolton Cemetery, with military graveside services conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
