Tonya Michelle Hughes

Tonya Michelle Hughes, 55, of New Concord, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at SEORMC.

Tonya was born on August 5, 1967, in Sydney, Ohio, a daughter of the late Clifford Eugene Hughes and Shirley Ann (Painter) Daughtery.

She enjoyed playing bingo, Words with Friends, listening to music, and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. Tonya was a lifelong homemaker. She was a former member od Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three sons, CJ Pitt, Christopher Willie, and Cody Morris, and one sister, Shirley Patterson.

Tonya is survived by her son, Jacob Pitt of New Concord; three daughters, Heidi (Paul) Sano of New Concord, Melody (Mike Smiley) Morris of Newcomerstown, and Leslie (Justin Shaver) Pitt of Cambridge; her second father, Dan Daughtery; one brother, Tony Hughes of New Concord; eight grandchildren, Paul III, Moriana, Kaylee, Hunter, Ava, Brayden, Zeke, and Bexleigh, and one niece and several nephews.

There will be no services held.
