Tyler Ryan Mourer, 18, of Cambridge, died Monday (June 7, 2010) at the Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge. He was born June 13, 1991 in Zanesville, son of Tim Mourer and Toni (O'Karma) Mourer. Tyler was an assembly line worker at Edgetech of Cambridge. He was a 2009 graduate of Meadowbrook High School. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. Tyler had a lifelong passion for horses, dirt bike riding, motorcycles, hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Charles Mourer; his maternal grandfather, Stanley O'Karma; and a paternal uncle, Bernie Mourer. He is survived by his parents, Tim and Toni Mourer of Cambridge; three brothers, Josh, Timmy and Trevor; a sister, Tonya (& Tom) Montgomery of Helethorpe MD; his paternal grandmother, Pearl Mourer of Cambridge; his maternal grandmother, Joyce (& Bill) Schmidt of Cambridge; a nephew, Mitchell Montgomery; his aunts & uncles, Donnie & Barb Mourer of New Concord, Wanda & Ronnie Colvin of New Concord, Wanita & Mark Oliver of Kimbolton, Chuck & Marty Mourer of Plainfield, Bill & Brenda Mourer of New Concord, Marsha & George Wilson of Lore City, Wayne & Pam Mourer of New Concord, Dennis & Laurie Webb of Alabama, Carol & Dave Froehlich of Delaware OH, Stanley & Patty O'Karma of Byesville, Cindy & Randy Hunt of Lore City, Tina & Darrell Fawcett of Cambridge, Tammy & Dennis Gibbs of Byesville and Dottie Johnson of Cambridge; numerous cousins; and his girlfriend, Kelly Hughes of Norwich. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Stop Nine Church of Christ Auditorium, Byesville. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday (June 11, 2010) at the Stop Nine Church of Christ Auditorium, Byesville, with Pastor Greg Kasler officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Byesville. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made in Tyler's name to the Meadowbrook Athletic Department and will be used for the football program.
