Veronica A. Miller, 92, of Cambridge, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at Countrview Assisted Living in Lore City.
Veronica was born July 16, 1930, in Dennison, Ohio, a daughter to the late Lewis and Loda (Gatchel) Beckley.
She was a member of the Cambridge United Methodist Church. Veronica was a Psychiatric Nurse at the Cambridge State Hospital.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Miller, whom she married August 8, 1975, and passed away on March 6, 2016, one daughter, Darlene Johnson Horstman, one sister, Arlene Engstrom, and three brothers, Edward Beckley, Gene Beckley, and Charles Beckley.
Veronica is survived by her two sons, Milton Durben and James Durben, both of Cambridge, three daughters, Sandra Henry of Port Washington, Ohio, Sherry Blankenship of Birmingham, Ohio, and Jane Guin of Arkansas, four stepchildren, Karen Miller, Larry Miller, Dale Miller, and Jeff Miller, all of Cambridge, one brother, Kenneth Beckley of Spencer, West Virginia, many grandchildren, step grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews, and her special friends, Hank and Cindy Scheffer.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at 11:00 AM, with pastor Steve Smith officiating, at Center Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make any donations to Hospice of Guernsey and Countryview Assisted Living.
