Vicki L. Devault

Vicki Lynn DeVault, 63, of Buffalo, passed away Wednesday (September 2, 2015) at her home. She was born February 16, 1952 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Jerry and Janet (Kirkman) Brokaw. She attended the Calvary Baptist Church and was a 1970 graduate of Cambridge High School. Mrs. DeVault worked at Cambridge VFW Post 2901, where she was also a life member. She had also worked at Southeastern Med. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Frank Brokaw. She is survived by her husband, John DeVault, whom she married November 13, 1971; a brother, Dennis Brokaw of Cambridge; a sister, Tracy (Mel) Brown of Cambridge; a son, Randall (Daisy) DeVault of Salesville; a daughter, Janet (Rick) King of Byesville; six grandchildren, Travis DeVault, Lisa DeVault, Alexis DiMario, Nathaniel King, Kohl Trott, and Kendyl Trott; a great-grandchild, Easton Stillion; and her special caregiver and sister-in-law, Patricia Hoey. Visitation will be held Saturday (September 5, 2015) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge. As an expression of sympathy, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Guernsey Inc., PO Box 1165, Cambridge OH 43725.
