Vicky Faye Starr

Vicky Faye (Fogle) Starr, 73, of Quaker City, died Wednesday (December 29, 2021) at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville.

She was born November 9, 1948 in Zanesville, daughter of the late Kenny Fogle and Virginia (Watson) Fogle.

A 1966 graduate of Zane Trace High School, Mrs. Starr was a former employee of NCR and also Cambridge Behavioral Health.

She was a member of the Middlebourne United Methodist Church, the Esther Circle, and the Beaver Hills Garden Club.

She was an avid reader.  She loved gardening, tending to her flowers, baking, and taking trips to the Blue Ridge Mountains.  She cherished spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Starr, whom she married August 24, 1973; a son, James Starr of Quaker City; a daughter, Stephanie Neuhart of Old Washington; a brother, Bill (Judy) Fogle of Cambridge; a sister, Brenda (Bob) Smith of Cambridge; three grandchildren, Olivia Neuhart, Nick Neuhart, and Logan Starr; many nieces, nephews, and good friends; and her beloved dogs, Jack and Jazzy.

Visitation will be held Monday (January 3, 2022) from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Quaker City, where funeral services will be held Tuesday (January 4, 2022) at 11 a.m. with Pastor Perry Baranich officiating. Friends and family are welcome, but due to COVID-19 please take all necessary precautions to ensure your safety and everyone else's should you decide to attend.

Burial will be at Salesville Cemetery.
