Vonda Marie Mccall

Vonda Marie McCall, 36, of Cambridge, died Thursday (August 21, 2014) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge. She was born November 30, 1977 in New York City NY, daughter of Lucius Johnson of Brooklyn NY and Ruth Mitchell McCall of Cambridge. Vonda was a home health aide for the State of New York. She enjoying walking, jogging, dancing, and singing. She was very supportive of her children in helping them achieve their goals. In addition to her mother and father, she is survived by three sons, Dykeem McCall, Treshawn McCall, and Lewis Eden Young; three daughters, Diamond M. McCall, Trasha M. McCall-Young, and Laniyah H. Young; two brothers, Vondell McCall and Christopher T. McCall both of Cambridge; a sister, Angela Mitchell of South Carolina; three grandchildren, Jamari Carter, Levaeh S. McCall, and Brooklyn Hardy; her maternal grandmother, Retha Mitchell of South Carolina; and numerous other extended family members. Visitation will be held Thursday (August 28, 2014) from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, following by a prayer service beginning at 7 p.m. Burial will be at the Rest Haven Cemetery, Dillon SC.
