W. Dean Adams

W. Dean Adams, 85, of New Concord passed away Sunday (July 5, 2015) at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born February 24, 1930 in Columbus and was the son of the late Donald W. and Daisy (Larabee) Adams. Mr. Adams retired in 1985 from the Ohio State Highway Patrol (Cambridge Post) after 33 years of service. He was a 1948 graduate of Columbus South High School and a 1951 graduate of the Patrol Academy. He was a member of the Retired Troopers Assoc., Masonic Lodge #66 F&AM, was a longtime basketball referee and was in the Naval Reserve. He is survived by his wife of 67 years Rita J. (Loeffler)Adams whom he married July 30, 1948; one daughter Marilyn (John) Chambers of Piqua. No calling hours or services will be observed.
