Wallace "Wally" Brunton

Memorial service plans have been finalized for former long-time Cambridge resident, Wallace D. Brunton. The service will be held Saturday (May 19, 2012) at 1:30 p.m. at the First Christian Church, 1127 Beatty Avenue. Burial will immediately follow at Friends Cemetery, Quaker City. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Brunton Family Scholarship Fund. This scholarship goes to a Trimble High School first generation college student attending Ohio University. Mr. Brunton was a graduate of both schools. He was born Dec. 30, 1924. He is pre-deceased by his first wife, Ruth Jane Hartley; five brothers; and one sister. Survivors include his wife, Mabel; two daughters, Molly (Jeff) Doyle and Ellen Pasquinelli; a sister, Betty (Kenneth) Dennis; and two brothers, Rankin Brunton and Trevison (Dorothy) Brunton; grandchildren, Kathryn Shively Doyle, Kelsey Wallis Doyle, Kate Pasquinelli and Sarah (Evan) Johnson; one great-grandchild, Asher Wallace Johnson; four stepchildren, Donald (Tina) Allen, Brian (April) Allen, Dawn (Keith) Kidder and Lorna (Fred) Stachowicz; nine stepgrandchilren; and 16 stepgreat-grandchildren. He was member of Beneva Christian Church, NARFE, American Legion, Masons and Toastmasters.
