Walter R. Moore

Walter Moore, 61, of Cambridge, died Thursday (May 27, 2010). He was born May 9, 1949 in Cambridge, son of Arlene (Bishard) Moore and the late Kenneth Moore. Mr. Moore was Protestant by faith. He enjoyed fishing and biking. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Francis, and an infant brother, James Edward. He is survived by his mother, Arlene Moore of Cambridge; his siblings, Donald R. Moore of Cambridge, Kenny L. Moore of Cambridge, Shirley (& Jim) Pontius of Cambridge, Tom B. Moore of Cambridge, Jim (& Linda) Moore of Lore City, Patty Hamilton of Lore City, Cliff (& Sarah) Moore of Cambridge, Billy Moore of Cambridge, Margaret Johnson of Byesville, Mick (& Kim) Moore of Cambridge, Mike Moore of Cambridge, Judy (& Bill) Moss of Kimbolton, Nancy Gibbs of Cambridge, Hazel (& Mike) Stewart of Sydney, Brenda (& Dale) Bucy of Byesville, Mary Moore of Byesville, Randy Moore of Rayland and Sandy Moore of Belle Valley; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and his close friend, Ron Grandstaff. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday (June 2, 2010) at 12 p.m. with Pastor Gary Sharp officiating. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
