Wanda Leota Barclay

Wanda Leota Barclay, 78, of Cambridge, passed away Monday (January 12, 2009) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge. She was born on September 11, 1930 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Chauncey Otto Bench and Mary Moorehead. Mrs. Barclay was a homemaker. She was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church of Cambridge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, a granddaughter and a grandson. She leaves her husband, David Lee Barclay Sr., whom she married on November 20, 1961; three sons, Harry (Boonta) King, David Lee (Debbie) Barclay Jr. and Daniel (Ruth) Barclay all of Cambridge; three daughters, Mary (Richard) Waggoner of Cambridge, Wanda Kay Whitehouse of Beverly and Vicki (Dave) Scott of Reno; a sister, Grace (John) Crawford of Cambridge; seventeen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge. A memorial service will be held on Friday (January 16, 2009) at 11:00 a.m. at the Christ United Methodist Church, Cambridge, with Rev. Scott Walsh officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to a fund established in Wanda's name at National City Bank, 749 Wheeling Avenue, Cambridge OH 43725.
