Wanda M. Keylor, 94, of Quaker City, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2024, at the Cambridge Place.
Wanda was born on May 25, 1929, near Fairview, Ohio, a daughter to the late Clyde and Ada (Watson) Johnson.
Wanda was a graduate of Old Washington High School and worked as the Fairview Postmaster for over thirty years. She enjoyed baking pies, cooking, painting, and gardening. Wanda was a member of Penny Royal Ruritan and Penny Royal Blue Grass. She was a member of Stop Nine Church of Christ in Byesville.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Keylor, who passed away on December 23, 2018, and whom she married on April 3, 1948, two sons, Stephen and Stuart Keylor, one grandchild, and one great grandchild.
Wanda is survived by two sons, Mick (Sherri) Keylor of Bellefontaine, and Mark (Beth Leach) of Somerton, one daughter, Kimberly (Robert) Smith of Quaker City, one brother, Jim (Mary) Johnson of Cambridge, seven grandchildren, Missy (Kenny) Burris, Amy (Neal) Hollingshead, Derek Keylor, Ashley (Lance) Bailey, Mallory (Tommy) Carpenter, Cass (Amy) Keylor, and Zachary Smith. Also left to cherish her memory are her thirteen great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024, at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge from 4-7PM, with an additional hour of visitation on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 12-1PM, with the funeral service to follow at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge with Evan. Mark Beros officiating.
