Wanda Maust, 81, of Cambridge, died Thursday (January 3, 2013) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. She was born February 10, 1931 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Alva Anderson and Goldie (Johnson) Anderson. Mrs. Maust was a factory worker at RCA, Meridian Plastics, and Randall Plastics. She also had worked at the former Gaslight Restaurant. She enjoyed playing the Daily Number, bingo, and cards. She enjoyed country music and watching football, especially the Steelers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin R. Maust, who died April 16, 1999. They were married on February 8, 1957. Also deceased are two brothers; three sisters; a son, Leslie Campbell; and a daughter, Priscilla "Pat" McClements. She is survived by four sons, Terry Campbell (& Darlene Stafford) of Zanesville, Jeffrey Maust of Cambridge, Melvin (& Schonna) Maust Jr. of Cambridge, and Scott (& Beth) Maust of Cambridge; three daughters, Kathy Hickman of Cambridge, Sherrie (& Jim) Dennison of Sugarcreek, and Melanie (& Harry) Johnson of Cambridge; a brother, Raymond Anderson of Cambridge; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and her dog, Gizmo. Family and friends may call on Monday (January 7, 2013) from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. with Pastor Donald Glass officiating. Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge.
