Wayne T. Courie

Wayne T. Courie, 28, of Quaker City and Akron, died Monday (July 11, 2011) as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was born June 23, 1983 in Akron, son of Michelle Y. Davis. Mr. Courie worked as a mechanic for O.K.Q. of Akron. He was preceded in death by a brother, Specialist Jacob C. Courie. He is survived by his mother, Michelle Y. Davis of Akron; two brothers, Jason Davis of Quaker City and Jeremy Davis of Akron; a sister, TeeJay Courie of New York City NY; his grandparents, Bill (& Sarah) Davis of Ravenna and Jean Davis "Grandma Bambi"; his dear friends, Buck & Vic of Quaker City, Bruce Boyles of Akron, Kevin of Akron, the DePrato Family, and the Phelps Family; his cousins, Tabitha and Adam; his dog, Lois; and his cousin, John. Family and friends may call on Saturday (July 16, 2011) from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge.
