Wayne Anthony Hanning

Wayne Anthony Hanning, 64, of Columbus, Ohio, died on September 25, 2018, at the James Cancer Center in Columbus, Ohio.

He was born on December 4, 1953, in New Lexington, Ohio and is the son of George W. Hanning and Marjorie (Sorrell) Hanning.

Wayne played on the varsity basketball team at Cambridge High School and graduated in 1972. He was a subcontractor by trade and loved his guitar and music.

He is preceded in death by his two sisters, Georgia A. Lucas and Marsha A. Hanning.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by four sons, Wayne Hanning Jr. of Cambridge, Eric Conn of Westerville OK, Robert Butler and Timothy Butler both of Texas; two daughters, Andrea Hanning and Kathy Vialpando both of Texas; three brothers, Rick L. Hanning of Texas, Mark S. Hanning and George T. Hanning both of Cambridge; one sister, Candace S. Freeman of Cambridge; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends, and co-workers.

A memorial service will take place at a later date.
