Wayne Allan Owczarek

Wayne Allan Owczarek, 66, of Byesville, passed away Friday, February 10, 2023, at SEORMC.

Wayne was born on March 18, 1956, in Harrisburg, PA, a son to the late John and Darla (Stokes) Owczarek.

He worked for Cambridge Power Equipment as a small engine mechanic until the closure of the business and then went on to work for the CDC doing maintenance until 2014. Wayne enjoyed fishing, cruising, looking for deer, and spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by the love of his life and mother of his children, Debra Sherman, and his brother, John Owczarek.

Wayne is survived by his sons; Wayne (Sherry Gessel) Sherman of Zanesville; and Alfred (Cheree Martin) Owczarek of Cambridge; his daughter, Ashley Owczarek of Cambridge; his three grandchildren, Brooklyne Bennett, CJ, and Alli Sherman; his fishing buddy, Grover Shultz, and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers, any donations can be made to his daughter, Ashley Owczarek.
