Wayne D. Trimmer, 75,of Senecaville, passed away Saturday (July 26, 2014) at his home. He was born April 29, 1939, in Belmont C o u n t y ( K i r k wo o d Town s h i p ) , son of the late Harry and Ruth (Smith) Trimmer. Mr. Trimmer retired as the Senior Center director for The Helping Hands Senior Center. He was a 1957 graduate of Barnesville High School. He attended The Ohio State University. He was a member of Elks Lodge 1699 of Barnesville and the Pleasant Valley Masonic Lodge. He was a 4-H program assistant for over 20 years and enjoyed golf. He was a member of the Kennonsburg United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth (Castello) Trimmer; and a sister, Gladys Joseph. He is survived by two daughters, Joey Mobley of Senecaville and Nikki ( T o m ) Moore of Cumberland; a sister, Dama (Buzz) Ferguson of Cambr idge; two grandc h i l d r e n , T h o m a s ( K i n d r i a ) Moore and Owen Moore; a greatgranddaughter, Sophie Moore; and a special friend, Sharon Lashley. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Mark Slay officiating.
