Wilbur Bruce Funk, 79, of Cambridge, died Saturday (February 17, 2018) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge. He was born January 24, 1939 in Power WV, son of the late Russell Funk and Anna Elizabeth (Sumner) Funk. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Harold, Russell, Richard, and John Funk; and two sisters, Mary Lou Pontius and Diane Marlene Hazinakis. Mr. Funk was a retired railroad worker and was a roofer for many years. He is survived by his lifelong companion, Delores Keith of Cambridge; his stepchildren, Tamera (& Paul) Hill of Cambridge, Raymond Richard Keith II of Cambridge, Mark Elton (& Trish) Keith of Lore City, and Crystal (& John) Harper-Ingram Jr. of Cambridge; a sister, Connie Emick of Florida; a special grandson, Mark Elton Keith II; fifteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; his mother-in-law, Viola Abrams; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Wednesday (February 21, 2018) from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor William Abrams officiating.
