Wilfred J. "Will" Walker, 82, of Cambridge, died Monday (November 26, 2007) at his home. He was born on March 4, 1925 in Robins, son of the late Clovis Walker Sr. and Jennie (Mason) Walker. Mr. Walker retired from Champion Spark Plug, where he had been an inspector. He was a 1943 graduate of Brown High School and a member of the Ninth Street United Methodist Church. Mr. Walker was a member of Byesville Masonic Lodge #654 F&AM, a life member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Cambridge and a life member of Aladdin Temple Shrine of Columbus. He was also a member of Kambri Shrine, Moose and Eagles of Cambridge and Cambridge VFW Post 2901 Men's Auxiliary. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Wilbert (his twin brother), William and Clovis Walker Jr.; and a sister, Leona (Walker) Harbin Johnston. He leaves his wife, Catherine (Miller) Walker of the home, whom he married on February 22, 1944; a son, Robert (& Joy) Walker of Lore City; a daughter, Susan (& Tom) Gaton of Cambridge; five grandsons, Steve Walker, Gary Walker and Richard (& Kristi) Walker all of TX, Terry (& Billie) Walker of Delaware and Scott (& Cathy) Gaton of Delaware; four great-granddaughters; four great-grandsons; and several nieces & nephews. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will be held on Friday (November 30, 2007) at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Gordon Meyers officiating. Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge. Byesville Masonic Lodge #654 F&AM will hold services at the funeral home on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Cambridge Eagles Aerie 386 will hold services at the funeral home on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to: (1) Hospice of Guernsey Inc., P.O.
