William "Bill" Berkeley Fisher, 72, of Cambridge, died Thursday (August 8, 2019) at Select Specialty Hospital in Newark.
Bill was born January 6, 1947 in Marietta, son of the late Everett F. Fisher and Mary E. (Gum) Fisher.
He attended school in Marietta and later graduated from The Ohio State University, where he was a member of the Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity. Bill was the first Director of Pharmacy at Barnesville Hospital for 8 years, Director of Pharmacy at Southeastern Med for 17 years, and then worked in retail pharmacy.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, a member of the Grand Lodge of F & AM Guernsey Lodge # 66, a member of the Kambri Shrine Club, a member of The Ohio State University Alumni Organization, and a member of The Ohio State Pharmacy Association.
He is survived by his wife, Karen F. (Roll) Fisher, whom he married September 7, 1974; a daughter, Shelly F. Fisher of Ravenna; a son, Matthew W. Fisher of Toledo; a sister, Susan E. Fisher (& Brian) Osborn of Wooster; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Monday (August 12, 2019) from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge. Masonic services will begin at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday (August 13, 2019) at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church (641 Steubenville Avenue, Cambridge OH) with Rev. Tina Gallaher officiating.
Burial will be at Mount Olive Cemetery, Zanesville.
