William J. "Jeff" Cunningham

William J. "Jeff" Cunningham, 65, of Old Washington, passed away Monday (October 14, 2019) at Countryview Assisted Living.

He was born November 16, 1953 in Barnesville and was the son of the late Russell L."Zeke" and Alice Mae (Brownfield) Cunningham.

Jeff was a custodian for East Guernsey Schools, a member of Old Washington United Methodist Church, OEA, and a 1973 graduate of Zane Trace High School.  He was a longtime blood donor and had donated at least twenty three gallons, and also donated his body to Ohio University for research.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Priscilla A. (Perkins) Cunningham whom he married June 14, 1974 and passed away February 24, 2018; and one great granddaughter Lyla Robinson.

He is survived by one son Charles (Donna) Cunningham of Quaker City; two daughters, Tonja (Leroy) Hickman of Senecaville, and Julia Cunningham (Mike Miller) of Quaker City; two brothers, David Randall Cunningham of Old Washington, and Larry (Lee Ann) Cunningham of Cambridge; three sisters, Patricia (J.T.) Sassak of Monesson, PA, Twila Cunningham of Lore City, and Melissa (Curtis) Cunningham of Cambridge; seven grandchildren, Deanna (Buck) Robinson, Jacob (Kayla) Cunningham, Scott (Kayleigh) Cunningham, Michael Miller, Zachary (Jessica) Miller, Owen and Isaac Hickman; eight great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday October 20 ^th, at Old Washington United Methodist Church.  Visitation will be from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Clayton Coffee officiating.
