William Bernard Lippert

William Bernard Lippert, 79, of Salesville, died December 8, 2020 at his home.

He was born November 24, 1941 in Barnesville, son of the late Charles Bernard Lippert and Helen (Lallathin) Lippert.

A 1959 graduate of Barnesville High School, Mr. Lippert worked as a mechanic at Jefferies Motors for several years.  In 1976, he opened his own business, Bill's Auto Body & Towing.

He was a member of the Central Christian Church of Quaker City.

He enjoyed flying remote control planes.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Tammie Anne Lippert.

He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley (Yanosik) Lippert, whom he married August 11, 1962; three sons, William Allen Lippert (Shawn White) of Salesville, Terry Lee (Lorrie) Lippert of Salesville, and Jerry Dale Lippert of Salesville; his grandchildren, Cody Lippert (Kara Koscoe), Brandon (Kristina) Lippert, Dillon Lippert, Tara Lippert (Zack Brownfield); and his great-grandchildren, Lucas Lippert, Kenlee Lippert, Karter Lippert, Koa Lippert, and Marlee Brownfield.

Visitation will be held Friday (December 11, 2020) from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Quaker City. [Per our Governor's current COVID-19 guidelines, face coverings are required to attend the visitation and/or services. Thank you.]

Graveside services and burial will be held at Salesville Cemetery on Saturday (December 12, 2020) at 11 a.m. with Pastor Perry Baranich and Pastor Jeff Eschbaugh officiating.
