William Gerald Neiswonger, 74, of Quaker City passed away Sunday (May 5, 2013) at Valley Hospice in Wheeling. He was born December 6, 1938 in Beaver Twp., Noble County and was the son of the late Carlos and Hester (Yoho) Neiswonger. Mr. Neiswonger retired from G.T.E and a graduate of Quaker City High School. He was a member of Quaker City Baptist Church, Life member of NRA, Life member of F.O.E. #4252, a member of VFW post #2792 Men's Aux., Batesville S.A.L. #578 and National Pike Club. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son Ronald Dean Neiswonger; one brother Walter Lee Neiswonger; one sister Winona Mae Neiswonger. He is survived by one son Alan (Tina) Neiswonger of Barnesville; one daughter Rhonda Neiswonger of Quaker City; two brothers, Dallas (Lois) Neiswonger of Senecaville and Lanny (Shirley) Neiswonger of Quaker City; one sister Charlene (Vernon) Bailey of Bethesda; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held10:00 a.m. Thursday (May 16, 2013) at Quaker City Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Jellison officiating. Burial will be in Friends Cemetery.
