William "Alan" Norris

William "Alan" Norris, 57, of Cambridge, died Sunday (September 5, 2021) at his home.

He was born April 2, 1964 in Fitchburg MA, son of the late Russell H. Norris and Mary Jane (Minard) Norris.

He loved football and was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.  He enjoyed watching Westerns.  He cherished spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a special friend, Ronnie Suttles.

He is survived by his wife, Blanche (Tucker) Norris, whom he married September 14, 2001; a son, Jon-Erick Nicholson of New Concord; a daughter, Nikki Jones of Zanesville; a brother, Russell L. Norris of Las Vegas NV; three sisters, Terry (Corey) Withers of Kimbolton, Katherine Quilter of Las Vegas NV, and Linda Gail (Sidney) Stanley of Las Vegas NV; several aunts and uncles; several nieces and nephews, including a special great-great-nephew, Messiah Norris, and a special great-great-niece, Octavia Stewart; a special friend, Kelly McCray; and his dogs, Petey and Rascal.

Private family services are being held at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge.
