William "Weebill" R. Thomas Jr.

William "WeeBill" R. Thomas Jr., 65, of Byesville, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025, at SEORMC.

WeeBill was born on March 7, 1960, in Steubenville, a son of the late William and Dorothy (Brandle) Thomas Sr.

WeeBill worked for Laborers Local 809 Union where he loved his job. He enjoyed hunting morel mushrooms, fishing, woodworking and being outside. He was a former member of Grant Hill Church in Chestnut Grover where he was baptized.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, John Thomas.

WeeBill is survived by his wife, Susan (Patterson) Thomas, whom he married on October 23, 1981, his son, Jason (Denise Lapping) Thomas of Rochester, PA, his daughter, Jill (Justin) Sheppard of Salesville, and his eight grandchildren, Isaac, Kara, Jordan, Marley, Millie, Zach, McKenzie, and Gavin.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 4-7PM at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Quaker City with the service to immediately follow with Pastor Perry Baranich officiating.
