William Tilton

William E Tilton Sr., 66, of Cambridge, passed away Friday, October 28, 2022, at his home.

William was born November 20, 1955, in Guernsey County, Ohio, a son to the late Auston Andrew and Lena Mae (Spurrier) Tilton. He married Elizabeth (Nibert) Tilton on November 21, 2021.

William served in the US Marines Corp. He enjoyed flying drones, playing guitar, and spending time with his family and dogs.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife Deborah Tilton and 8 brothers and sisters.

William is survived by two sons, William Tilton Jr of Cambridge, and Robert Tilton of Belmont; one brother, Rick Tilton of Florida; three sisters Joyce Frame, Alberta McCollough, and Shirley Tilton, all of Cambridge. His memory will also be cherished by four grandchildren, Austin, Nikki, Savannah, and Cagen Tilton; three great- grandchildren, Charlestyn Tilton, Mason Smith, and Colton Tilton, along with his dog, Junior.

There will be calling hours Friday, November 4, 2022, at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge from 12pm to 2pm with the service immediately to follow. Pastor Clayton Coffey will be officiating.
