William Allen Treherne Sr.

William Allen Treherne Sr., 85, of Lore City, died Saturday (February 27, 2016) at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. He was born July 26, 1930 in Lore City, son of the late Allen Samuel Treherne and Blanche (Pearson) Treherne. Mr. Treherne retired from Arrow Plastics, where he had been a utility worker. He liked to fish and hunt. Mr. Treherne was a 1948 graduate of Lore City High School. He is survived by his wife, Shirley M. (Hill) Treherne, whom he married June 1, 1952; four sons, Dave (& Mel) Treherne of Byesville, Bill (& Sandy) Treherne Jr. of Salesville, Dale (& Tammy) Treherne of Lore City, and Alan (& Shelly) Treherne of Barnesville; a daughter, Karen (& John) Davis of Cambridge; eight grandchildren, Brett (& Katie) Treherne, Erin Todd, Jennifer (& Matt) Hardy, Stephen (& Alli) Stahovec, Mark Stahovec, T'Neill Treherne, Trislyn Treherne, and Brady Treherne; and six great-grandchildren, Paige Treherne, Greyson Treherne, Jerome Todd, Carson Todd, Reagan Hardy, and Sebastian Stahovec. Visitation will be held Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held Friday (March 4, 2016) at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jeff Eschbaugh officiating. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
