Willie James Brown Scott Jr.

Willie James Brown Scott Jr., 67, of Cambridge, died Thursday (July 15, 2010) at the Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge. He was born December 16, 1942 in Raymond, Mississippi, son of Lue Bertha (Brown) Scott and the late William James Scott Sr. Mr. Scott was a truck driver with the Olen Burrage Company. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Katherine Doss. He is survived by his wife, Doris (McClelland) Scott of the home, whom he married in November of 2002; his mother, Lue Bertha Scott of Raymond, Mississippi; a daughter, Hattie Mae Mack of Clinton, Mississippi; a step-son, Michael (& Delta) Black of Cambridge; a step-daughter, Nicole McClelland of Cambridge; two brothers, Ernest (& Fannie) Scott of Raymond, Mississippi and Eugene Scott of Cambridge; two sisters, Annie Terry and Mattie Johnson both of Jackson, Mississippi; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews. Family and friends may call on Monday (July 19, 2010) from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will follow at 9 p.m. with Rev. Barbara Earley officiating.
