Yvonne M. Suitt

Yvonne M. Suitt, 99, of Cambridge, died Friday (December 26, 2014) at Meridian. She was born September 8, 1915 in Tiltonsville, daughter of the late Marius Escalier and Harriette (Linsler) Escalier. She was married to the late William Myron Suitt, who died in 1969. Mrs. Suitt was a graduate of the former Brown High School. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Cambridge. She was a former member of the Cambridge Country Club and enjoyed playing bridge and traveling. Mrs. Suitt continued to operate the family furniture business for several years after her husband's death. She is survived by a son, Dr. David (& Teresa) Suitt of Cambridge; a daughter, Jeannie (& Bob) Lilienthal of Viera FL; seven grandchildren, Jason Suitt of Columbus, Ben Suitt of Columbus, Rick (& Marianne) Lilienthal of Cambridge, Mary Pat Lilienthal of Barnesville, Jude Anderson of Kansas City MO, Cathy (& Tim) Longren of Packwood WA, and Rob (& Debbie) Lilienthal of Cambridge; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. No calling hours will be observed. Graveside services will be held Monday (December 29, 2014) at 11 a.m. at Northwood Cemetery.
