Betty Earhart

Betty Earhart, 92, of Cambridge, died Thursday (July 5, 2018) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge.

She was born September 9, 1925 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Douglas A. Milner and Nettie (Van Dyne) Milner.

She worked at Rural Family Life as an aide in the childcare profession.

She attended The Salvation Army and St. Paul CME Church.

She enjoyed talking with and about her neighbors and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest F. Earhart, who died April 28, 1982; three sisters, Beatrice Heskett, Helen Hardy, and Aileen Conner; two brothers, Glenn Milner and William Milner; and a granddaughter, Christie Earhart.

She is survived by two sons, Clarence Earhart and William E. Earhart both of Cambridge; a granddaughter, Billie L. Earhart of Boise ID; and three great-grandchildren, Elexis, Elyssa, and Elana Lajiness all of Cambridge.

Visitation will be held Tuesday (July 10, 2018) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and also on Wednesday (July 11, 2018) from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday (July 11, 2018) at 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, with Pastor Randolph White officiating.

Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge.
