Betty Evelyn Gill

Betty Evelyn Gill, 81, of Cambridge, died Monday (October 15, 2018) at Southeastern Med.

She was born February 17, 1937 in Guernsey County, daughter of the late Charles Hardy and Carrie (Lippencott) Hardy.

Mrs. Gill was a homemaker. She enjoyed Christian music and hymns.

She was a faithful and caring pastor's wife.

She was a member of the Free Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Ann Gill; three sisters, Mary Ford, Florence Jane Hayes, and Dorothy Snell; and four brothers, Ruben, Dick, Charles Jr., and Raymond "Shorty" Hardy.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Eugene Gill, whom she married May 15, 1954; five daughters, Nancy Lee (& Norman) Gonder of Old Washington, Darla Noreen (& Dan) Ogello of Meadville PA, Cathy Sue Middleton of Warren, Delores Eileen (& Don) Ryan of Cambridge, and Betty Jean Mullins of Pikeville KY; a brother, Robert Hardy of Coshocton; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday (October 18, 2018) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Free Methodist Church (721 Madison Avenue, Cambridge) and also on Friday (October 19, 2018) from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the church.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday (October 19, 2018) at the Free Methodist Church, Cambridge, with Pastor Ray Gill officiating.

Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Byesville.
