Carol Jean Sharp

Carol Jean Sharp, 83, of Newcomerstown, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025, at Riverside Manor in Newcomerstown.

Carol was born on January 3, 1942, in Akron, a daughter of the late Charles O'Dell and Ethel (Roddy) Bennett.

She worked as an assembler at March Electric for many years. Carol was a member of the Red Hat Society, and she enjoyed traveling.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Garrell Sharp, who passed away in 1995, her sister, Joanne Young, and her granddaughter, Ashley Lynn Sharp.

Carol is survived by her two sons, Kenny (Kim) Sharp of Kimbolton, and Terry (Karon) Sharp of Auberdale, Florida, three grandchildren, Tommy Sharp (Heather), Kyle Sharp (Keri), and Shannon (Josh) Hallmark, six great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.

There will be no services held at this time.
