Dale Ellis Perry, 82, of Quaker City, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2022, at his residence in Quaker City, Ohio.
He was born August 28, 1939, a son of the late John and Martha (Lanning) Perry.
Dale was a 1958 graduate of Quaker City High School. He was a member of the Ohio Army National Guard and served on the Quaker City Council. Dale was a retired Broughtons Dairy Truck Driver Salesman. He attended the Quaker City Methodist Church.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, John Richard Perry and Mark Perry, his two sisters, Mary Ann Hendershot and Jane (Howard) McCormick, his in laws, Pete and Arlene Markle, and his three sons in law, Dusty Carpenter, Randy Mellott, and Ed Tipton.
He is survived by his wife, Donna (Markle) Perry, whom he married on March 8, 1958, his son, Dennis Dale (Lana) Perry, his daughters, Rita Mellott and Rola Perry, his special nephew, Chris (Maryln) McCormick, three nieces, Debbie McCormick, Terra Church, and Marshall Perry, three grandchildren, Lacey Betts, Eddie (Ashley) Tipton, and Perry Ellis Roe, three step granddaughters, Tammy, Tonya, and Zoe, six great grandchildren, Noah, Faith & Gracie Betts, Gavin, Paisley, and Little Eddie Tipton, five step greatgrandchildren, Hunter, Jacob, Madison, Kennedy and Samuel, and his lifetime friends, Brent and Sue Fisher.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2022, from 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Quaker City. Services will be Thursday at 11 AM with Pastor Jeff Eschbaugh officiating. Interment will be held at Friends Cemetery.
