David Reeves

David D. Reeves, 68, of Byesville, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at his home.

David was born on June 18, 1955, in Cleveland, a son to the late Winston and Doris (Lepi) Reeves.

He enjoyed fishing, playing music, spending time with his family, and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. David was a Truck Driver for NFI for over twenty years. He was Christian by Faith.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Daniel Reeves and Timothy Reeves.

David is survived by his wife, Carol (Brooks) Reeves, whom he married on October 17, 1975, a son, Cody Reeves of Byesville, two daughters, Heather (Tim) Bean of Senecaville, and Lisa (Heath Zerger) Reeves of Chandlersville, one brother, Mark Reeves of Cambridge, two sisters, Judy Winans of Byesville, and Susan (Glen) Davis of Cambridge. Also left to cherish his memory are his seven grandchildren, Taylor (Craig) Wedenoja, Kayla (TJ) Christie, Kelsey (Owen Cozzens) Bean, Parker Reeves, Kaitlynn Bean, Carlie Zerger, and Hayden Zerger, his fur babies, Myia and Myrtle, and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023, from 11AM-1PM with the funeral service to immediately follow at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge with Pastor Debbie Gheen officiating. A burial will take place after the service at Greenwood Cemetery in Byesville.
