Dorlos Kay Godwin

Dorlos Kay Godwin, 81, of Quaker City, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022, at Doctors Hospital in Columbus.

Dorlos was born December 3, 1940, in Gassaway, West Virginia, a daughter to the late Eddie Dobbins and Mildred (Lemon) Dobbins-Barnes.

She was a homemaker and loved crafting, reading, and her animals. Dorlos attended Quaker City Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Barry L. Godwin, whom she married on September 27, 1975, one son, John Lutz, and one granddaughter, Kara Lee Lutz.

Dorlos is survived by two sons, Jerry Lutz of Akron and Jimmy Lutz of Barberton; one stepson, Ronald Scott Godwin of Texas; a daughter, Karla Kay Warrick of Quaker City; six grandchildren, Trent Warrick and Shelby (Elijah Cordner) Warrick, Ayla (Ryan) Crum, Derek, Jade, and Aaron Lutz; and one great grandson, Lincoln Crum.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
