Douglas B. Power

Douglas B. Power, 55, of Cambridge, died Monday (February 17, 2020) at his home.

He was born January 23, 1965 in Cambridge, son of the late Joseph N. Power and Connie (Fabian) Power.

He was a 1983 graduate of Cambridge High School and a die-hard fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes. He enjoyed all sports, tinkering with his Jeep and tractor, and loved to garden.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Power Jr.

He is survived by two sisters, Michelle Carmichael (Chon Ruiz) of Cambridge and Kimberly Power of Cambridge; his nieces and nephews, Aerica (Zach) Bates, Devin Burris, Joseph Carmichael, Jenni Carmichael, and Jessi Carmichael; two great-nephews, Emmitt and Owen Bates; and his former brothers-in-law, Sean Carmichael and Rick Burris.

Memorial visitation hours will be held Thursday (February 20, 2020) from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where a memorial service will follow at 7 p.m.
