Elmer J. Kinder, 67, of Quaker City, died Saturday (September 14, 2019) at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.
He was born August 18, 1952 in Boone County WV, son of the late Lacie Kinder and Carrie (Barton) Kinder.
Mr. Kinder retired from Yellow Freight, where he had worked as a loader for many years.
He was a member of the Salt Fork Baptist Church.
He enjoyed trading and raising horses.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Ernest, Lacie, and Jimmy; and a sister, Hilda.
He is survived by his wife, Candi (Donaldson) Kinder; five sons, Joseph Franklin Kinder, Toby Ray (& Jacqueline) Kinder, Jonathan Waymen Kinder, Chad Alan (& Kelly) Kinder, and Deven Louis Kinder; a daughter, Andrea Marie Hinkley-Kinder; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday (September 19, 2019) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Kinder Family Home (69569 Marshall Road, Quaker City OH), where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m.
Burial will be at the Kinder Family Cemetery.
