Evelyn Jane (Morris) Wolfe

Evelyn Jane (Morris) Wolfe, 85, of Cambridge, went to be with her Lord and Savior and was reunited with her loving husband on Wednesday, May 10, 2023.

Evelyn was born on March 31, 1938, in Cambridge, a daughter of the late Francis and Eula Helen (Perkins) Morris Sr.

She was a graduate of Old Washington High School and worked as a Supervisor at the State Hospital for many years. Evelyn enjoyed going to church, baking, gardening, spending time with her family, and her kitties. She was a member of Salt Fork Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Dallas Wolfe, whom she married on September 26, 1958, and passed on February 21, 2015, her brothers, Paul Winland, Francis Morris Jr., Herman Morris, and her great-granddaughter, Joy Wolfe.

Evelyn is survived by her son, Roy Dale (Teresa) Wolfe of Cambridge, her daughter, Susan (William) Larrison of Delaware, OH, her brother, Gary Morris of Senecaville, nine grandchildren, Roy, Heather, Amber, Brittney, Kristen, Josh, William, Madison, and Dalton. Also left to cherish her memory are her eighteen great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and good friends.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge, from 5:00PM-8:00PM. Services will be held on Friday, May 19, 2023, at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge at 11:00AM with Pastor Brian Hollis officiating. Burial will be held following the service at Guernsey County Memory Gardens.
