Hattie I Cowden- Ridgeway

Hattie I. Cowden-Ridgeway, 92, of Cambridge, passed away Friday, October 20, 2023, surrounding by her family.

She was born March 9, 1931, in New Concord, daughter of the late Walter M. Tom and Ethel (Jerles) Tom.

Mrs. Cowden-Ridgeway was a retired LPN. 

She was Presbyterian by faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Kyle Cowden; her second husband, Raymond Ridgeway; a son and daughter- in- law, Courtney and Delores Cowden; a grandson, Alan Phillips; two brothers; and a sister.

She is survived by two daughters, Elaine (& Wayne) Phillips of Cambridge and Joy (& Jeff) Walker of Cambridge; four grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Hattie enjoyed euchre, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, October 25, 2023, from 4pm to 7pm at Thorn- Black Funeral Home in Cambridge with funeral services to be held Thursday, October 26, 2023, at 11AM. Burial will be at Bloomfield Cemetery. Pastor Roger Morrow will officiate.
