Jack Emde

Jack Emde, 76, of Cambridge, died Monday (April 16, 2018) at his home. He was born November 17, 1941 in Cambridge, son of the late Harry Thomas Emde and Theda (Minto) Emde. Mr. Emde was the retired owner of Emde Construction. He was a member of the Cambridge Elks 448, Cambridge Moose, and a social member of the American Legion of Beverly. He attended St. Benedict High School. He is survived by his wife, Linda (Kidder) Emde, whom he married July 6, 1974; a daughter, April (& Matthew) Richardson of Cambridge; a sister, Mary Roederer of Cambridge; a stepbrother, Frank Hess of Cambridge; two grandchildren, Kolt Richardson of Cambridge and Kayla (& Jerry) Wheeler of Zanesville; and two great-grandchildren, Jordan and Jayde. Visitation will be held Thursday (April 19, 2018) from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held Friday (April 20, 2018) at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge.
