Jacqueline Sue Bywaters, 82, of Cambridge, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 29, 2023.
Jacqueline was born October 8, 1940, in Harold, IL, a daughter to the late Lee and Everal (Webb) Bradley.
She enjoyed bingo, bowling, and being outdoors. Jacqueline loved the ocean, her church family and spending time with family. She was a graduate of Carmi High School in 1958 and a member of the Friendship Baptist Church. She was a retired RNA for Red Carpet Health Care.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Lee Bywaters, and 8 brothers and sisters.
Jacqueline is survived by her sons, Brad (& Kathy) Gidcumb Of Cambridge, Kurt (& Stacy) Gidcumb of Salesville, Adam (& Rita Hill) Smith of Cambridge, her brothers, Bill (& Kay) Bradley of Norris City, IL, Sam (& Kathy) Bradley of Carmi, IL, her sisters, Savannah Catlin of Jane Lew, WV and Hope Lingle of Cambridge, and her grandchildren, Shanna Gidcumb, Chris Larrison, Natalie Seamster, Justin Gidcumb, Krissi Carter, Mysti Walulik, Trisha Yinger, Beverly Gidcumb, Chris Cosgrave, Corey Gidcumb, and Collin Smith. Also left to cherish her memory are 21 great grandchildren, one great- great grandchild, three special friends, Karen Gilcher, Brenda Ditto, and Matt Payton, many nieces, nephews, and good friends.
There will be calling hours Monday, September 4, 2023, from 6PM to 8PM at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at 11AM. Burial will follow at Northwood Cemetery. Deacon Scott Thompson will be officiating.
