Jill C. (Thatcher) Dillon

Jill C. (Thatcher) Dillon, 58, of Byesville, passed away on Friday, September 29, 2023, at SEORMC.

Jill was born on January 13, 1965, in Columbus, a daughter of Sandra (Hurst) Thatcher-Huffman and the late Jerry A. Thatcher.

Jill loved fishing, hunting, and everything outdoors, and enjoyed listening to country music and Lady Gaga. She was Christian by Faith.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her niece, Tiffany Nyeste, and her stepfather, William Dodderer.

Jill is survived by her mother, Sandra Thatcher-Huffman of Johnstown, two daughters, Chrystal (Michael) Logwood of Byesville, and Jessica (William) Dickens of Byesville, two stepdaughters, Traci McCleary of Florida and Lisa Dillon of Salem, Ohio, two brothers, Mark (Linda) Thatcher of Granville, and David (Angela) Thatcher of Pataskala, and one sister, Sherry Thatcher-Nyeste of Gahanna. Also left to cherish her memory are her ten grandchildren, Drake, Cameron, Kayleigh, Logan, McKenzie, Jasmynn, Destiney, Marcus, Matthew, and Shayleigh, and her husband, Link “JR.” Dillon of Byesville, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and her beloved dog, Duke.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023, from 11AM to the time of the service at 12PM at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge with Pastor Randolph White officiating. A burial will take place at Maplewood Cemetery in New Albany following the service.
