John M Ansberry

John Ansberry, 72, of Cambridge, passed away June 23, 2022, at SEORMC.

He was born February 24, 1950, a son of Almeda Farley and the late John Ansberry.

John was a 1968 graduate of Cambridge High School. He is a Marine Veteran having served in Vietnam. John was a TBW employee at the Cambridge Developmental Center. He was a member of the Disabled Americans Veterans (DAV) and American Legion.

John is preceded in death by his father, John Ansberry, two brothers, James and Robbie Ansberry, one sister, Linda Hutchison, and one daughter, Heather Ansberry.

He is survived by his wife, Kara (Plymire) Ansberry, who he married on October 24, 2000, his son, Kyle Jirles of Cambridge, five daughters, Kelsey Ansberry of Cambridge, Brandi Ansberry of Byesville, Chia Jirles of Cambridge, Tonya (BJ) Morris of South Carolina, and Angel Adkins of Canton, his seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and good friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2022, from 11:00AM-1:00 PM at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge with services to immediately follow. Pastor Randolph White will be officiating. Interment will be held at Northwood Cemetery with the honors of the Guernsey County Veterans Counsel.
